Too Much Robert Partridge

When I found out one of my favorite actresses Marisa Tomei was to be on Fox 5 Morning News in 2 days (today), my goal was to write a song & hopefully have my anchor buddy Raoul play it for her on the air. Then I found out she would be in-studio! Then I thought “Maybe I can deliver it to her in-person!” So I wrote the song, sent the link to Raoul, forgot to set an alarm, woke up right after the interview, and here we are! Based on how nervous Raoul was interviewing her, maybe it was a blessing in disguise my alarm didn’t set and I didn’t go down to the studio. That, or I missed my one big chance to make an impression on Marisa Tomei (most likely the latter). Anyhoo, here’s the song:

Last month I was asked to make songs for Raoul Martinez & Arthel Neville, anchors on Fox 5 Morning News. Initially I had mixed feelings, as I didn’t want to take anything away from the Chrissy Russo song, but Chrissy gave me the go ahead, so I did. Not sure if Fox is going to use them for promos or if I’ll just end up making two more music videos, but for now I’ll simply present them in audio form:

On Wednesday, Fox5 Morning News opened with “Chrissy Music Video” as one of its top stories. Chrissy herself, gives some lovely commentary on the video.

In what may be a first, a San Diego television weathercaster has become the subject of music video.

The video makes extensive use of Fox 5 Morning News footage intercut with shots of Partridge performing in the song in front of his television. It’s too new to determine if it will become a YouTube sensation, but with it’s catchy tune, clever lyrics and video production values, it certainly has potential.
